World of warships atago b9/8/2023 But there's a good stable of Tier VIII Cruisers. Some like Zieten and Bismarck even have Hydro, giving that extra bit of early warning and spotting DDs in smoke (Hermes) at critical moments.įor Cruisers, I'd say Mainz, Bayard, Admiral Hipper-class, Pyotr Bagration, Atago and her clones. Strong firepower, immense staying power, and an Auto-Damage Death zone via Mega Secondaries. Nothing meaningful to say about it.The safest choice is one of the Mega Secondaries BBs like Massachusetts, the Bismarck-class, Zieten, even Brandenburg. I’d say Atago is an upgraded Mogami and leave it at that. The zao is FAR superior in every meaningful way even considering tier for tier. Somebody compared it to a zao and although I kinda get where the are coming from I don’t think it’s the best comparison. when bottom tier but I like that kind of excitement. It is squishy and you better be on your toes around B.B. The heal is a huge plus and hydro is nice to have depending on the role you choose to play. The ship itself turns well, has great speed and very respectable concealment. The torps have great arcs, good damage, decent reload and have good range. The guns rof is a little low and the rang is sort of disappointing but the arcs are nice and the HE is excellent. It can spam from range, torp ambush up close, escort B.B. Its greatest feat is the ability to do several distinct roles pretty well. I like to play both classes and understand the T8 MMing :( Both look like they're still fun in random though.Ītago is a lot of fun. Both are on sale and I would love help deciding. I completely regretted not getting the Atago during the summer sale and here we are again.īut the Kidd looks amazing because A) my grandpa served on the USS Bryant (Fletcher class) and B) it's a great ship and can be used competitively.
